Another learned job tip:
The way you present yourself matters a ton. People respect mystery, not transparency. You don't need to post every little job you did in the past, wide open. If they ask for it explicitly, sure, give them your job history, but don't put all your little jobs on your CV or you will look like shit and get insta-rejections. Instead, wrap them in a block of 'early jobs' or something.

Learned the hard way.

Same with the sizes of the orgs you've worked with

@BordedDev Why's that? Hm, come to think of it, perhaps it has to do with companies disregarding working at mom&pop shops. lol

@CaptainRant Different size orgs have different cultures (bureaucracy) and will want people from similar background, even though it will take you like a day or 2 to get accustomed. So if you've worked with a lot of smaller companies, and you apply for a big org, (and since you have experience they can't put you in junior position) they think you won't be able to deal with their brand of bullshit. And yes that lack of respect of smaller orgs is also part of it.

@BordedDev Ah, shit. lol. I thought it was about skills mostly, but yeah, damn politics... And yeah I've worked for big corp and I hated it. I definitely don't want to deal with their bullshit. The only thing big corps do on my CV is reputation. lol. It's the only way I have a chance these days...
