I fucking hate Christmas.

You hate the people or you hate christmas?

@devTea Christmas, I avoid the people, except the ones I like.

I hate when people do stuff because it is tradition, but they do not even know why it is done, just spectacle for spectacle.

I like the heathen traditions. Getting evergreen trees and twigs indoors, eating lots of warm food, drinking plenty of alcohol, lighting hearth fires, creating an atmosphere of cozy warmth in cold and dreary times.

But the commercial traditions, or the religious ones? Nope, I nail Santa to a cross and throw him in the fire to celebrate the Winter's Solstice.

I like Christmas actually. Maybe I've just been lucky, but I think my family doesn't do it because it is tradition. But rather because it is a nice time of the year to get together. It's not about the presents but having fun.

@Krokoklemme no, I have a lot of fun the rest of the year too. This time of the year people usually have offtime and because we live quite far apart.. what annoys me about Christmas is the repetitive music and all the advertising.

I like Christmas. Everything about it feels special and nice. ^v^
