Looks like a combination of a normal tumbler pin lock and a dimple lock, though the dimples looks to have a regular pattern. Is it also digital?

donuts236726y@ScriptCoded no idea, their changing the locks next week. I just picked up the keys. The black thing on top is sorta thick so maybe has something magnetic/RFID in it?
-
@billgates Hmm, tell us when you know :) Isn't that some sort of contact at the tip?

donuts236726y@ScriptCoded Says Mul-T-Lock. Googled it seems to be a company but couldn't find a page that has a description of this key's features.

Not an high security key, but at least is a lot more resistant to "bumping" than standard "Yale" type.

I think lock picking lawyer has shown that core in some yt video and haad said that it is one of the best if not the best core.

mrgadget4276yIt’s a mechanical mechanism. The spring at the front is called an alpha spring, an interactive element to deter key duplication.
The dimples operate 5 pin-in-pin (10 in total) pin chambers, and the milled (wavy) track drives (5 IIRC) finger pins.
There is an electronic version available (cliq) which has a different design of key-bow containing a replaceable battery and an LED. -
I am so alarmist that I would even change the locks. Oh, I'm always very afraid of theft because I have a lot of valuable things at home. Especially the vase of my mother-in-law, who is afraid for this vase more than for the health of her grandchildren. If something happens to this vase, then I'm afraid that something bad will happen to me. I'm afraid of hacking because of this vase, I even installed an ajax system to be calm (not only for the vase, of course, but now this is included). Oh, I don't know, this vase doesn't let me live in peace. And maybe still break it up and then life will become easier?
Because of some theft this year and even though we already have security cameras, my apartment building decided to check the front door locks so it's more secure.
This key looks very high tech... Only issue though is I never use the key anyway... I just entered the door code...
So what is the point of changing the locks? I'm going to guess whoever is stealing isn't picking the lock... People would notice... They must know the code.
Also it seems most of the apartment locks are digital key card/pins too. Wondering if this just means most owners are young or just are techies/devs...
