Who knows? Perhaps that, but also neglect, plus some other things. Could be a vicious cycle.
Start -> Fewer people create content -> fewer people come to the site -> low user count causes staff to stop caring about the platform's upkeep thus things start breaking -> more things broken == fewer users returning -> goto Start.
What’s going on with devRant? The website feels broken, I have to reload it several times, and many features don’t work properly. On top of that, there’s no mobile app anymore (last time i checked was months ago). I’ve liked devRant for years (though I haven’t been a regular user recently), and it used to be great. I could always find funny stories, and scrolling through rants at the office was genuinely entertaining. What exactly happened to it?
