Brolls31556yI ended up dropping out, I did alright for myself in the end, but I never took the time to address the mental health, so the cycle followed me.
I’ve come to accept that life is what life will be, and stressing over a good job, a degree, a relationship and all manner of other stuff just isn’t worth the mental damage you’re setting yourself up for down the line.
Hope everything works out okay for you 👍 -
C0D4681386yHey @ganjaman ‘s mom.
I’m a high school drop out and still made it in life.
Not all dropouts are worthless, some of us just didn’t have the challenge we deserved and taught ourselves the rest. -
At that moment i would tell my parent to fuck off and do what i want (and of course making sure i will have a job)
-
sonrisa14506yMy first thought: yeah, you might suck, but here in Hungary education is probably worse
*checks out where @ganjaman is from*
Also me: ohh -
Are they aware of how much money you make?
I can understand why parents sometimes stress so much about us getting through school, times have changed though and sometimes they just have not come to realize that just yet.
Oh, jus drop out negroid -
Find the nearest 5 star hotel to their house. Spend a few nights there, tell your parents you are taking a break from uni and youll come and visit them after room services has brought you champagne and fruit salade for breakfast.

@AleCx04 they know
Doesnt help that my mom was in college in a lost communist country where they just let everyone pass because there were nobody who could do office work because they were killed years ago. Honestly my best bet is getting a job abroad and just not coming home. -
potata14806yI've had a similar story...
Was around 19 and just finished school, everyone around me told me that college or university will bring me a good paid job... I've tried.... Ran away because it was in my jobs way...
Funny part - all of them have 2 or 3 degrees and I already were making more than all of them combined... In the end they stopped pushing me and realized that you can do things without it too...
Me: has continuous mental breakdowns and health issues because of stress@college
Mom: if you dont finish college you wont get a good job
Me (already earning more than my parents together): yeah u r right
Me: *continues college*
Can i just die
