@Jilano it depends on how far he wants to go. Following a guide on the interwebs and it can be done within a week.

Making an advanced drone from scratch is really difficult since you have to do a lot of calculations etc and that might take a year or two.

We target by the end of September.
We started by the drone and 2 persons in the team have already made a drone (simple flying drone).

So it's more a challenge around the autonomous drive/mapping
