So I just completed reading this book and it was pretty awesome. Can anyone recommend me similar books? Which are not language specific but cover computer science concepts & is fun to read.

A book called "weapons of math destruction" by Cathy O'Neil, it's about the danger of blindly relying on big data and machine learning causing destructions to society and threatening democracy. A scientist on Devrant recommended it and I very much enjoyed the book.

One book I read a while back that really stuck with me and meets your criteria (although it’s more about the human-computer interface than programming per se) was the book The Humane Interface by the late Jef Raskin.

His ability to see clearly the connections between human psychology and the interface to a system (be it a physical device or piece of software) still seems worlds ahead of what most people seem to grasp and his treatise on modes and habit-forming will stick with me forever.

It’s a little dated now, and some of his real-world examples clearly show their age, but the abstract concepts he covers are timeless.
