rui9024216yHardstyle
Rock
Rarely Classical, mostly if under huge stress
This weekend just to change a little bit, some Portuguese Hip-Hop -
rui9024216y@tnuhb That's awesome (in a way); I love music, and once I had an intern who could go days without any music and I freaked out ahah
I just don't "understand" how anyone can focus with no music / white noise ! -
hobyrr2166y@Stuxnet @rui902 @tnuhb i'll look all tomorow then and listen the song from @Alice too 😁
Tell me what you think about this !! https://youtu.be/CMxPZg3cuas -
rui9024216y@hobyrr Yo, natural is a really cool song man, I don't usually like people's recommendations ahah

Chillhop and ambient stuff. My go to is the "Atmospheric Calm" playlist by Spotify.
-
@M1sf3t Hmmmm I'd expect something more like some George Strait or something like that from you lol. I guess you're kinda like me:
From the south but not a huge redneck or whatever you call it there -
@M1sf3t Ahhh makes sense lmao
I only listen to country music during the summer 😂😂 it's a playlist of like upbeat music I'd play at a house party.
Other than that, it's usually rap. -
@M1sf3t I'm that asshole that likes the music old heads call "not real country" like Florida Georgia Line, Thomas Rhett, Luke Combs, etc. Oh and there's Adair's Run. They're my "unknown" duo that I keep up with
I started listening to some bluegrass while coding because it's usually just instrumentals. Really like Earl Scruggs for that -
jirubizu766yUsually play just TV shows that I've watched before so I don't have to focus on what's happening as I have already seen it and music wise is mainly lofi or 90s Japanese music (I think I enjoy this a little bit too much)
-
JhonDoe27946yI'm trying different genres lately, like two months ago I was with soul. nowadays I'm into synthwave(that makes me soul-less nao)
-
@M1sf3t Yeah I gotcha.
I mainly just listen to up beat stuff during the summer bc it fits with all the summer sounding songs.
And honestly, a lot of it goes back to like the late 00's and early 10's.
But yeah I agree it gets pretty repetitive. That's why I cherry pick what goes into my playlists -
kondanta2316yI'm ok with anything that does not have vocals in it. Anime/Movie/Game soundtracks, classical and such.

iAmNaN68456yDepending on mood, blues rock (The Black Keys, The White Stripes, Gary Clark, Jr, etc), Gangstagrass (Gangsta-Bluegrass fusion, don't knock it until you've tried it. Gangstagrass, The Lacs) Modern Swing (Caro Emerald, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy), Electro (Deadmau5, Skrillex, etc), Heavy Metal (5FDP, Disturbed, Bad Wolves, etc) and on occasion, softer new age electronic when my head hurts, or I just want to chill.
-
iAmNaN68456y@M1sf3t the first time I heard about Gangstagrass, I thought the person was being funny, and then I gave it a listen and I was hooked. I set up a station on Pandora to listen to the genre. If you like blue grass/country and you like gangsta rap, or you hate both, you need to give it a listen. It's exactly what it sounds like NYC/LA meets Bayou/Appalachia. And there was no bloodshed. 😂
-
Concentration music mostly.
Occasionally switching to my favorite bands like Slayer, Dream Theater, In Flames, etc. to change the mood -
Anything melodic is fine... I just can't stand modern pop and rap. It sounds like complete crap to me.

karma108396yLately nothing as for some reason I have serious troubles with focussing on the code 🙃 FML
Which song(s) do you listen when you're coding ?
