olback107946yTHT resistors? Any particular reason for that?
I find 0805 smd to be big enough to solder with your regular equipment. -
@olback pretty much just so that I don't have to be but as many new parts (I already have hundreds of resistors)
But you're right, and for my keyboard I will probably use SMD resistors -
@7400 nope, a cool thing about the atmega32u4 is you can program it over USB alone
-
740027566y@j4cobgarby: Indeed cool. Not having to write a USB firmware update mechanism yourself is pretty nice!
-
@7400 especially useful for a keyboard, since it would have a USB interface needed anyway

EV-EV3556yWhere did you order them? I can't find a PCB printer near me, so I've been planning of doing it myself with the toner transfer method
-
@EV-EV JLCPCB
They're pretty good, but not close to me (they're in China, so shipping is pretty expensive)
But for those 10 PCBs it was only £1.74 or something, plus about £17 shipping..

Ranchonyx12I just fell in love with PCBs and all kinds of circuit boards for one sole reason.
My PCBs that I designed arrived today! They're just to test how to use the Atmega32u4 microcontroller before I make a keyboard using it :)
