I once designed my own Arduino IDE compatible microcontroller, and even had the card manufactured.

Sadly I've yet to actually use it for anything, but hey, achievement unlocked, right?

That is really cool! How did you have the card manufactured?

@Jumpshot44 there's a site called OSHPark that manufactures PCBs in low quantities (3 or more). You just submit the schematics and order the PCB. You pay per square inch.

OSH is really good. I've even manufactured som advanced RF pcb's there and quality is top notch (advanced as in impedans critical tracks). To bad they only have 4L. They said they would add 6L and 8L last year, but that never sadly happen.

@Marnsghol note that the keyboard editor I made this in isn't available anymore, the new editor is a bit more limited, but it does allow you to use svg and adobe illustrator files
