if they don't call you after that said date. You call back. That way you show interest.
Why does that matter?
example: at IKEA if you apply as retail worker they invite you to an interview as an logistic worker. If you don't protest at this misshap you won't get further. So it's always important to stay sharp at the communicating in the job application game. -
@Nanos 6pm on the same day is probably a bit too ambitious. And could you seem over confident in yourself. As they usually interview 5ish candidates within a week.

@DevNotFretPet once while at work I've goten a phone call if would be interested for the position i've applied. That was 10 months later. 😆
