Since everyone rants about interviews, I think that's the perfect time to ask this.
In a week, I'm going to have my first interview.
Its for an apprenticeship as "Fachinformatiker für Systemintegration".
For the non-german speakers, pretty much sysadmin,server-engineer, sometimes internal tech-support.

The company isn't a tech-company, but a logistics-company.
The interview will be done by the boss of the company's location and the lead of the IT-department.

So, what should I expect, what questions and such ?

I've been to a bunch of interviews for that exact position/apprenticeship.

The questions really depend on what they expect from you, but it'll probably mainly be what your background with computers is, but also they will ask about personal stuff, since they want somebody who will fit in the team and is ambitious to do the apprenticeship.

oh and I totally forgot, prepare one or two questions for them like "To which school would I be going?" or "Do you have any other apprentices?" to find out if they have a clue what they're doing or not. Also if you consider a company that considers you as well, tell them you'd be down for an a few day internship. That way you can meet the team and they get an impression of you as well.
