Wish I knew this before. I used to suck at math but I found an online course that taught me how the process of learning and understanding actually works in your brain. Knowing that, applying the techniques from the course, I was able to finally not suck at math any more! It was a real eye opener as I passed 3 tough math exams for my university pre-master program. It is unbelievable but if you know how it works, well, it really does work!
I failed my 3rd exam and didn't have any time to study after that, but I planned a second attempt in advance. So I though well, let's just go and see what happens. I prepared for 1 day reviewing the material and practicing a bit and passed my exam. Me, the dude who sucks at math. Damn that felt good!
You can learn it too, in fact, master any tough subject! If you're interested check out 'Learning how to learn: powerful mental tools to help you master tough subjects' on coursera.org. -
@CodeMasterAlex I actually know that I can understand the subjects, I nearly finished both courses. It’s just that life knocked on the doors asking to pay the bills. Thanks for the nice encouragement!

Studied for 9 years in a degree, decided to quit because the math related subjects were to hard for me. Got a job anyways. TL;DR; a degree doesn't really atleast. not if you find the right company.
