Anyone here who works in advertising?

So, Jen Loots people by being a good liar

Many sales and marketing people should commit seppuku for their dishonesty and many other dishonorable behaviors.

I hate ads. I just fucking hate them.
I wish I wouldn't have to deal with that bullshit.
If they were at least somewhat honest, and sincere, it would've been fine. Products need advertising, and I understand that.
But no, they always have to lie about every fucking thing they can, deceiving in every possible way, basically treating us like we're idiots.
I'm sick of it.

This is the reason why I never watch TV anymore (except at lunch and dinner, when I have to, because my parents watch it), and because I turned on AdBlock on my browser...
And I'm so glad I did, because otherwise I would've got insane by now.

It sounds like unless you can prove financial burden or negative health effects, they won't do anything. So that scrolling "infinite word search" ad for a game called "infinite word search" that doesn't actually feature an infinite scrolling word search... 😡

Honestly it's the first time someone assumed I'm american (or said it), so I'm surprised by that, I'm guessing it's because I know more american terms than english ones...?
