Tried playing Dwarf Fortress again today.

So much information and learning.

I quickly went back to coding, seems to be far less work now.

I tried with a couple of 'learn dwarf fortress' vids on yt. They are usually over the 40 min length lmao

you need to stop trying to learn df, you can't do that, same as you can't learn a whole world, you only learn the tiny part you need to survive in it.

Exactly. And my df skills are like: 80 dwarves and no attack is fine. No problem, I can survive.

And learn only one thing then the next and you will succeed. It's more about trying different things out and improve. And remember: Loosing is fun!

Dwarf Fortress is coming on steam BTW. With quite neat tileset bundled 😃
