Are there any plan9 (related) software users here? I don't want to feel alone...

Installing windows 10 with an unlabeled disk is not a good idea. During the whole installation process you never know which version it is. Only later when creating an account you notice that you are unable to login to your company ms account.
Upgrading from home to pro is also a bad thing. Needs three reinstalls or so. I don't want this...
I remember times when computers were easy

My university decided to switch their mailing software to outlook. So no smtp/imap in the future. How am I supposed to do my mailing stuff now? I use older ("non-microsoft") mail clients like mutt or upas? What about standards? Aargh

Best prank of me? I think: Making a screenshot of the desktop and setting it as the desktop background. It was funny to watch people trying to move the items. We also locked the screen and moved the unlock window almost out of view (windows xp). They tried opening the browser or the start menu, nothing worked...

Just two weeks ago I worked with other students on a university project. I left the room for a short time to buy some hot chocolate (no coffee!) the next day one of my "coworkers" showed me my twitter timeline with the last tweet like "waifu #3dpd" or something like that. And yep, I deleted it. I was about to change my password, then he stopped me and told me he did that directly on my pc in this short time. It was a bit funny...

Anyone tried to create your own x window manager and/or screen driver? Can't find enough useful information on the internet.

My own, personalized vim, some great music (mostly MONO, Anoice, world's end girlfriend, galneryus, depends on the situation), no headphone but my old aiwa stereo speakers. And a place where I have some kind of "peace".
