Though, it shows that you weren't prepared for the commute, while there's probably tons of ways you could've had a solution beforehand:
- asking someone to drive you,
- lending a few bucks for public transport
- go by bike

idk. I mostly found a way myself in these kind of situations.

@xewl he lives in Switzerland. Public transport is expensive AF, and going by bike is a valid option if it is under 25km.
But since he said he's too broke to get there, I think it is way more than 25km.
