Why not encourage people to share stuff instead of telling them to not post at all because someone might've posted it before.

@norman70688 ofc its good to encourage OC. Nothing makes me smile more than some OC. But I don't see what's so bad about a repost.
I visit devRant multiple times a day and still can't see all the content. I don't mind a repost because I still haven't seen it before a lot of times.

Of course excessive reposting is annoying as fuck, that's basically spam. But when I see an image I've seen before, I just scroll past.

I don't mind people getting their images from Reddit or Instagram or whatever, because I (and many other ranters) don't use those platforms so it's nice to have them posted here.
