How can I be so fucking stupid?
I was developing and testing a small webserver running on an ESP32.
3 fucking hours were wasted resolving connectivity problems because I did not realize the fucking VPN on my PC was still up thus hiding my ESP32's IP.

How fucking brainless...
I've cie ked everything. Dead flash, wrong offsets, compiler warnings, CPU freq. config...

Always start with the basics, there's a reason we won't touch a ticket from 1st line until they have actually run through their scripted checks

The classic, “have you tried turning it of and on again” is very very true and experience does not make you immune. This I know for a fact.

Any time you get stuck, use a checklist or ask someone, even a junior , Its awesome for their self esteem if they see that seniors not only are not infallible but also asks for help and it will make them less afraid to ask them self ;)

I love the idea of the esp boards, but can't think of any projects. Silly how they're just dollars per unit now.
