Why don't just pause windows updates.
They will be paused for 3 months. Then install them after 3 month and pause again.

all of these rants could be solved if you scheduled your work PCs to come on like an hour before you wake up through WoL or something.

you set up Windows correctly. When you do that, it takes MAYBE 5 minutes and pmuch all the problems people bitch about here go away! AND you don't have to pause updates and be vulnerable!

@Parzi I really couldn't give less of a shit about that - if I wanted raging advice on how to make windows not shit on me, like using task scheduler and setting my business hours (WHICH I HAVE ALREADY FUCKING DONE AND WINDOWS NEVER RESPECTS BECAUSE NO ONE IS SPECIAL TO HIM - NOT EVEN HIMSELF) I would've gone to stack overflow to get pissed on.
