@irene it's awesome because most of my profs use Google calendar too. Makes adding all my due dates and what not so much easier.

(I can also add sports stuff because all the major options are supported, but I just know the dates by memory)

Calendar: in my head. I'm not important enough to have that many meetings to think about so I don't need to write it down 🙃
    Tasks: notepad!

+1 for Org-mode synced via nextcloud, orgzly on private Android phone and boerg on work iPhone. Never ending construction site but I love it. Folded pocketmod paper and a pen always with me, is often faster

@RantSomeWhere Can you access them on your phone too? Sync them between devices?

Been thinking of doing that but in vim.

For syncing, I use DAVx5, which syncs my CalDav files over to my nextcloud.

On the laptop I use the nextcloud task list / calendar and on the phone you can use any app that supports CalDav (i use OpenTasks)

Only problem is that I have to manually sync with DAVx5. And that I'm dependent on internet while working with the laptop in order to access my nextcloud.

Thats why I'm looking into just working with text files (smth like orgmode) so I also have offline access.

@Ederbit for Org apps, on android I definitely recommend orgzly, it's amazeballs

@epse Have an old huaweii phone where I couldn't get it to work.

@RantSomeWhere I just got comfortable in vim not too long ago, but I'll look into emacs once I have more time again. I found a plugin for vim that I think reads org files.
(https://github.com/jceb/vim-orgmode) I'm gonna try that first.

    Thanks guys :)
