Wow. I feel kinda bad!

I just raged at someone for removing a feature, that disappeared because I CHANGED my config file.

I just feel stupid... Wow.

    Damn man. Shit happens, just make sure you clear it up with the person you shit on. I've been in the same situation (not exact circumstances, but shitting on someone for doing something when I find out that it was my fault anyways), and it sucks. Just gotta make sure you admit your mistake and all.

    No worries, but explain it to them

    I-am-sorry-donuts served w/ an apology in person, followed by explanation of what was the actual problem and how were you left to think that poor soul was the culprit helps :)

    You made a mistake. That can happen.
    The important detail is that you admit it and feel sorry about it.
    Learn from your mistakes, clear it up with them with a nice apology, and all is well.

    There are so many cunts out there who wouldn't admit they were wrong out of principle, or stubbornness.
    Be proud that you aren't one of those nutters!

    Meanwhile somewhere on the other side of devRant a wild rant pops up of a dev who raged at by a colleague for no mistake of his own. xD

    @Yamakuzure @netikras @infernalempress True 100%, and that's what I would do...

    But I guess I got too annoying when I tried making a PR that (I thought) would fix the issue, the guy locked the conversation...

    @chabad360 Just post another issue apologizing and "feel free to close this issue".

    If they complain about not being the right medium to communicate such things, then they can eat a bag of dicks, you don't have to go to the end of the world to say you're sorry.

    Also I read the issue and the pull request on github and I don't really see any real flame on your side, maybe some sass, but no real rage...

    it's still very appropriate and correct to say something like "sorry for giving you sass, it was my fault"

    @chabad360 Conservative, but growing. Reading a wonderful bio on the Rebbe by R. Telushkin.
