I know nothing about this.
Let's say your computer is on all night, and then you hit it in the morning, just re-activating all your windows... for me, it's always like a 10 minute wait until it "catches up".

I realized this morning, like, why doesn't it optimize itself while I'm away, so that when i do come back, that 10 min wait doesn't happen.

I'm sure they have thought of this, so why does it take so fucking long to wake up your computer.

Do you have an SSD? How much RAM do you have?

Are we talking about hybernate or sleep? I assume the former?

I had a nice ssd, but it essentially spontaneously combusted.... bought another, same deal

so I use a fairly fast hd
I do notice different in startup, the hd is much slower, but once all the ram catches up, everything is intant, even like 50 windows later

It takes 2-5 min like everysingle time when coming back from sleep... maybe Ill stick to hibernate.

Hybernate is the slower one, sleep is faster iirc.

No idea what you are doing to ssds, but its a must have component today.

You probably have a shitton of useless startup programs and an useless antivirus installed.
