    Literally the only thing I use the windows start menu search for is hitting the windows key, typing the name of the application I want to launch and hitting enter. How about you make that faster instead of adding a shit ton of unnecessary features that make it slower and fill up the search results with irrelevant junk?

    I met get bashed here, but sometimes Microsoft introduces features way earlier than other tech companies, while the users are not yet ready for them. Remember when they wanted XBox One to have an electronic store only for games and everyone went crazy about it?

    @Qaldim that's the point, and that's true... Stsrting with metro/flat design, one hand use of mobile phone with pivot, bar on bittom instead of burger menu....

    @dontbeevil I still love the metro design of Windows 8. The only thing I would have done differently with the Start Menu+Button controversy would be to put the tiles on the desktop (a layer above the background image just like on Windows Phones) rather than redesign the Start Menu.
