I swear, every time someone says we have the latest front end tech stack, makes me think of this.

    We've had a project that was built with:

    Laravel + VueJS (both latest versions)

    Then a random front-end'er appeared and started pitching the client that all we had was a native php without any framework, pieced together and a jQuery site.

    We tried to give proof to the client but he trusted that front-end dev way more. Whatever - we got paid and they started rewriting the app.

    The app was re-written into:

    React front-end + python back-end.

    To this day - we didn't get why nor wtf but...

    Looks really like straight javascript - although there are too many tiny files IMHO - its already spreaded over several directories ... Is there a minimal version of React, without all those fancy libraries? Like - is there a hello-world-version?
