Trying to find a linux distro I like to replace Windows on my home pc... Didn't like the first 3 I tried, so I'm continuing to try others...but now it feels more like I'm trying to kill Windows

Ubuntu is quite nice

@azuredivay That's what I'm doing.. Booting from usb and trying out..
I'm in fedora now.. And again feel lost.. Why dont i see any kind of dock/bar that shows all the open windows? And i thought the side menu will pop when i move my mouse to the edge of the screen.. Not on winkey.

This is turning into a real rant :S

I quite like Mint and dualboot it with Windows.

Man as much as i hate windows, every other ui is twisting my brain and testing my patience now

@azuredivay well i like the look, but I'm trying to play an mp3 and it does work, and now i went to my folder with movies and i don't see half of the files that i know are there, and I see some old files that i downloaded in 2011..I dont know what I'm doing wrong o_O

Have a look at Linux Manjaro Xfce...
It has pretty amazing UI + Arch based!

@darkLord tried it, and so far I like it the most!! Things work out of the box and UI is very intuitive.

I can recommend Arch Linux if you have a few spare days.

@vortex Deepin is beautiful and works great. Built on Debian. Don't freak out because the website is on Chinese. The distro isn't. You should look it up. I'm new to Linux too. Have tried a lot of different distros recently. 😊

If you want something that just works and looks nice, give Elementary a try!
