What do y’all think about the new Raspberry pi with that 4GB of RAM. Other good improvements too, but that’s what I’m most excited about

That and the Gb ethernet mean you could actually use it for something serious, so I'm pretty excited about it

I'm thinking this could make a cheap portable laptop if I find a case and battery.

@bhumish I had a 4GB laptop, I made it 8 And not long ago bought a 16GB laptop.

But for a little guy, 4GB will be loads!

I'm very excited about it. Too bad there are no resellers I could buy it from :/ at least I couldn't find any.

@RichardoC yeah I’m definitely excited for that too, the 3 B+ is great but it’s still slow

Finally have enough motivation to add RPi-4 support to Haiku-OS

@theKarlisK it probably won’t be able to handle too much, I could see it possibly handling GameCube/PS1/PS2 but nothing extreme

@alphaseinor I’m hoping Ubuntu mate will work a lot better now

Read something about the USB-C in Pi 4 doesn't follow the spec and have some problems with cables and chargers as PSU. But also that they would fix this is the next version of the same model. Anyone have any experience of this?
