I like biking to places, but the roads are so terrible quality in Budapest (the capital city) that I can't sit down without risking getting sterilized.

start a movement for improvement for cycling in the city?
Use your dev skills to do so.
Start a website to find supporter. Reach out to Pro Bike organizations if there is any. Find funds to finance a social media campaigns. Create a Virtual Reality city simulation which calcluates the optimal cycle paths and the positive impact it would have to convince politicians.

And here some of my prejudice about this beeing in Hungary.
- Never leave the house without keflar armor as fidesz neonazis will hunt you for "hating the traditional hungarian way of life" because you hate cars and want to remove parking for cycling.
- Always include the number of how many Forints politicians can embezzle from the EU bicycle development fund until the public notice it.

You actually dare biking in Budapest? You have a death wish, or lucky enough to only bike around the few parts that have a semblance of bike lanes? Did the possibilities for biking improve in the last few years?
