@c3ypt1c I really liked tumblr. Then they accused me of child porn and deleted my account after I posted a spree of political content. Before that, I thought the stories of Tumblr deleting blogs they didn't like were just rumors.

I'm looking for alternatives for these in a way that I don't get addicted like before, so far for lurking I'm on reddit and 4chan, Reddit is way more political as compared to 4chan, more alternatives are welcome 😁

@nothappy Lurking is the way to go on reddit, but get an account so you can have a filter on your all page. Some subreddits are worth it imo.

@nicbe yeah, I mostly lurk in r/programminghumour and r/dankmemes but nothing's original, I literally see screenshots of Instagram posts which were on reddit in the first place 😂😂

devRant has a nice mature community, when it comes to dev stuff I'll always choose devRant over any other platform.
I do dislike the rating system, people care way too much about ++s on their profile, it's pathetic.

4chan is great for it's anonymity, it's a site you have to learn to browse which is nice because it keeps a lot of people away from the site.
Some boards are great and have a nice mature community, and some are just completely shit.

Reddit has some nice subreddits, but it has a terrible community, overall Reddit is just one big circlejerk.
I like to lurk on Reddit sometimes, it's one of those sites I'll scroll through for a bit while my game is loading or I'm waiting for a match to start.

@RantSomeWhere yeah, b is full of porn and gore. And yes t does have a lot of porn but there's a lot of gold. I have some archived pages with interesting torrents from there

@RantSomeWhere the most porn you would find on /g/ is just some anime fan art so I would look past it. But the whole taking the joke too far is just how 4chan is
