Does anyone ever get stuck at a super complex problem and then google it, find it on stackoverflow and then see that it was answered in '08 and just feel like a loser because someone out there knows so much more than you?

Like I'm super thankful for stackoverflow but damn. It makes me feel like such a n00b.

That other person who answered back in 2008 only had more experience than you and worked through a similar issue and was kind enough to provide an answer so that you can benefit from their experience.

That person was a noob once as well. People have different degrees of talent, and for some it takes half the effort to be double as good, yet still: it takes effort.

Hang in there, and over time people will see you as the expert if you allow yourself to become one. Keep on learning and one day you'd be the one answering questions.
