@Stuxnet key type can be anything that doesn't feel like typing on cooling cookies. Don't need a num pad.

i would advise you to put $20 more to the budget as the average mech keyboard costs around $65.
check out banggood

mt3o19135yIf you need ergonomic but not anything weird, look for Logitech Wave. Even if used one.

@0x412E2047696C it's the same one I have, just full. (It was definitely more expensive at the time lmao.)
I like mine a lot and wouldn't hesitate to buy it again. You're welcome man -
@Techno-Wizard isn't Windows only, I have it and I work on a Mac, it's really great keyboard and even is recognized by Karabiner to remap keys

I see the mechanical keyboard army is here. If you want low noise and feel good to type on, get one of those chiclet type keyboards. I have one from dell and it is a joy to type on. Costs about 30 USD. Weighs less so it’s portable too.

cst199220555y@grumpyoldaf Do you mean the KB212 or KB213? I have both and both are good(though I like the KB212 more).
-
@Techno-Wizard it really depend of the switches, if you could get it with red, black or even brown, the noise won't be a problem, the blue for some people could be noisy but for typing it feels really great

Anyone have keyboard recommendations below $50 USD? I can't stand the one my office provides anymore. Flipping thing is a $10 piece of garbage that comes with the computers. Note that noise is an issue.
