Wtf is going on with developers these days?
I just applied for a job (through some online job thing) for the holidays and they had questions like "Do you have relatives working for our company?" and I'm like noooo. So when I wanted to submit the form the field of my relatives name working for the company was marked with a notice "pls fill me in". And that was not the only field behaving like that. There were like 10 of them.

So now I wanted to install mono develop to learn some c# and gui development and they give me this

Don't go mono for starting out, go the usual .Net route. Maybe wpf over forms, depending on your initial skill level. Maybe even start with consoles. After that play with .Net core cross platform stuff, maybe throw a gui library in, or go play with mono then

@Kimmax I have knowledge with c++/java gui stuff. I know that I don't like vs so I tried to not have to deal with it. But I guess I'll give it another try then.

@b3b3 core is the open-source implementation of .Net. I'd say Monos time is coming to an end, but that will probably trigger one or the other dev
