Actually, this is a real thing. Sometimes restarting the whole browser doesn't work on Linux, you need to restart the X server. Rather than tell you that, Google just says "restart your device" since "Restart your X Server" might go over some people's heads.

I've actually had contexts in which the Xserver would just need a restart.
Or just a GPU refusing to cooperate (Yes i'm looking at you Nvidia GT series GPUs in 2010)

@Gregozor2121 it sounds strange but rendering is used not only for graphics. I am using FL studio and it also says rendering to exporting to mp3.
