There should be a TV show where junior programmers make a software and then one famous senior programmer finds bugs, yell at them and fixes it. The name of the show will be "Coding nightmares".

    On another note:
    You call yourself a programmer?
Wtf is this shit, it's so solid you can't even print it on the fucking screen.

@C0D4 So there is a demand for this show! Should totally look for producers!

Oh god, Linus Torvalds is our industry equivalent to Gordon Ramsay.

OMG I feel like we should hook a camera in our intern /coop room, and turn it into a tv show.... I am definitely Gordon Ramsey to them ... attitude, language all of it hahah

@erebus what throws me over the edge, so often is walking in, them asking questions so I go to try to read and understand.... completely fucked up tabbing... either no indentation or too much or like all fucked up... I’m like okay you can first fix this shit and make it look correct so I can read it without working too hard..

@QuanticoCEO Hahah can't say I'm not guilty of doing exactly this though! But this would definitely make a great show!

@erebus I don’t understand how you or them could do that.. like are your reading what your typing?? Or just copy and pasting shit.. to me the only logical way issues of tabbing could occur is copy and pasting shit.. and at that point I don’t trust the code, I can’t stand when my interns copy and paste shit, take the extra time and type it out, use what you wanted to copy as reference but dear god stop this copy and paste for quickness, cuz in the end you spend more time debugging and fixing the copy paste shit than if you would have just typed the god damn thing out from fucken scratch in the first fucken place...

Added extra swearing as if I was talking to the interns right now.. because I have had this conversation with them and said the exact thing

@QuanticoCEO Hahah I get your point! It happened when I was in freshman year, at that time I thought well as long as it compiles why the fuck you care how it looks! As long as you get the correct output, intendation doesn't matter. Now that I have to work with other programmers I understand why fucked up tabbing/intendation sucks!

@erebus hmmm that’s an interesting point of view, I’ve never considered the point of view “if it compiles and works what does format matter” ... I wonder if that’s what the interns believe.

Hmm interesting. Thank you for sharing
