If you could have 3 displays + laptop workspace, what would it look like?
Right now I have 2 displays, one horizontal, one vertical, and i have opportunity to upgrade. Is it worth to?

Monitors are obsolete. Get VR, there you can have as many editors as you want. Or just one bigass concave line all around you :O

I'd rather have 4 displays and laptop on dock _not_ used as any sort of input/display, but if it had to be 3 displays and laptop, I'd have them around the laptop

@JoshBent i haven't noticed, that laptop is on dock and with disabled display.

How would you use this setup? Doesn't it strain the neck from looking up? What would you put on that top display?

@mt3o for me to be able to work, I need something babbling in the background, so that top monitor is used for streams/videos, then I have two what I call "side mirrors", that are square monitors that are angled inwards, the top monitor is also tilted and the border hidden behind the main monitor

I do sometimes use the top monitor for having some "side by side" or "top by bottom" comparison of things, but as you said, it could lead to straining my neck, though I usually just "look up" from the center lock view at my main monitor and avoid that altogether :)

Edit: if I actually want to relax a little and just enjoy the stream/video, I either put it on the main screen or lean back in my chair for a comfortable viewing position.

@JoshBent Replace all those with 27"ers and you are in my living room XD

I'm really looking into one of those bfgd from nvidia though. Just imagine that... (https://nvidia.com/de-de/geforce/...)

@chris115379 I have the sizes on purpose, since I don't like big side monitors and the main two are perfect size for 1080p :)
