Absolutely any pair of shoes I wear thrashes up in month or two. It doesn’t depend on either I treat it or not or on shoes quality and materials.

It can’t be just me!

Not just you. I destroy shoes. Chacos sandals are the only shoes I’ve found will last me more than a year. Also, you can throw them in the washing machine. But in the wintertime when I can’t wear sandals it’s back to destroying shoes!

    Yea,
It's the walking style and pressure you put to the shoes.
Mostly for bureau & computer people, we tend to have different walks from an average shoe producers perspective.

I have an old pair of ecco leather shoes that just won't fucking die after 5+years of faithful wintertime service.
Shoes for summer though? I'm changing those yearly, even ecco which are otherwise some of the most solid footwear I've ever had.
Let me know if you find a solution, I'm tired of buying new shoes all the time...

@ArcaneEye this is what I tried:
    - high-end italian leather loafers
    - army boots
    - yeezys and other synthetic stuff
    - a gravel-running shoes (you're not supposed to actually walk in those)
    - trekking boots
    - sandals
    - vans, converse, dr martens

all of it was trashed in less than a year.

Motorcycle boots. Seriously. Comfortable and will take the beating.

Alternatively military boots. Scratch those, you tried them.
