JhonDoe27945yTo me nightmare is when there is no documentation at all or the official doc is a set of garbage that barely describes the api of xyz component(in which materal-ui is very complete) . Examples can be bothersome to read, granted, but calling the doc a nightmare just for that. Nope

Oh can't agree more,I just left a job where the company created it's own javascript backend wich was a binding of delphi functions and IE js engine :p .
We didn't have much doc for that either hahah -
What do you expect. Google is a poor company. They can't just spend more money on documentation.
-
formatc1235yGoogle made material.io
Material-ui is just a set of react components implementing material.io, not sure that Google are responsible for that teams documentation -
@Root I just started with some Android development on the side and so far Google documentation has been absolutely fantastic. Maybe it changes for more advanced stuff?
Would you know what products of theirs have bad docs so that I can avoid them/not waste my time and look for other sources? -
Root797735y@RememberMe basically everything I've needed to use. I'm not an android dev though; never looked at its docs.
My brain is broken right now so all I can think of is maps and foobar.

Material-ui looks and complete and so but their documentation is a nightmare .
They seperated component example and the code of those example. You gotta go to one page to see a silder example and test it and then you have to click on a link at the bottom of the page to go to the code where they mixed multiple variation of this compoment into the same spaghetti code.
