Looking to get a decent laptop for programming which I can use for heavy apps like android studio. I'm open to all options including Mac, surface laptops, need suggestions

You can get heavy hardware for heavy tasks. I use MSI gt73vr 6re (https://msi.com/Laptop/support/...) and this badboi won't overheat no matter how heavy load you throw on it.

Keyboard layout (delete button) is kindda annoying but they have software to rebind it.

Dell Latitude. Don't get an XPS, they're overheating.

Maybe a Thinkpad T590. We have the T580 at the office and theyre workhorses.

It depends on your budget. Look for a laptop having ssd
