    I always liked working with the old timers on things, so much to learn. I’ve been lucky in that department, I’ve had plenty of experienced people to learn from in my life. Experience with old equipment too, which is usually fun. Got to see the very first hard drive made by ibm get spun up after being restored at Santa Clara. You appreciate all these layers of abstraction we have today so much more once you have those reminders of how it was without them. Amazing what they were able to accomplish given how dreadfully tedious the tasks would often be
