Multiple friens asked if I could help someone with her "laptop".

Me: so I hear that you have problems with your laptop?
She: oh yea let me get my laptop.
A minute later she comes back with an iPad mini.
She: I cant get this app to work!

How can they all call that a laptop! *facepalm*

    Well laptops are not laptops anymore either. They are notebooks. I remember buying a laptop about 10 years ago that showed a picture of it on someones lap on the manual. In the manual it says "Do NOT place on lap." Said something about burns.

    @Demolishun I remember seeing laptops that were 20"+ that were designed to live on a desk. Yet, if it folds, it's a laptop.

    Could she have attached a Bluetooth keyboard and called it a laptop? A Surface is pretty much that.

    @Demolishun Notebooks arent designed to be powerful. So laptops are always are going to be different from notebooks
