bartmr2795yGet ready for 3 years of being surrounded by half dead people, only to realize you could've accomplished more knowledge and salary if you just learned it by yourself and learned negotiation skills.

@bartmr aren't you quite the downer?
@spaulder SICP rocks, I wish more people studied from it.
@OP CS college is great, make sure you explore the field and find out what all it has to offer. There's a huuuuge amount of stuff that you can go for as a CS major, college is the best way to get a taste for it all in a relatively short time. Do lots of projects, focus on fundamentals, and remember that profs are there to guide you, not spoonfeed you (learning is always done on your own).
All the best! -
bartmr2795y@RememberMe Just sayin'. It's best to take your time and do what you want and have fun, than to be stuck with people who don't shower and tight deadlines made by a professor that hasn't touched the subjects in 20 years.

@RememberMe he won't. It's fine, the dude ain't gonna find a place in fintech or any m.l based company because he seems to believe that schools are all bad. I am sure the lad is better than anyone in top ivy league institutions(or any higher ed institution for that matter) by a wide margin also.
