I'll be your all-time favorite game until you lose everything you've worked for while you're not even playing.

    In the same genre: Freelancer.

    (Remake when?)

@groxx yeah no Freelancer's a lot of fun, ESPECIALLY when you really get into it, figuring out things like optimal trade routes round-trip (i'm early-mid-game and i've found one where a reasonable-hold-size freighter can end up with a profit of like $95k round-trip, and you can do the trip 5 or 6 times in an hour average) and AFTER beating it i found out you can freely control your turrets with the mouse so i would just set my ship at one end of a mining zone, fly to the other at like 2m/s, and just mine for a while. Plus, enemy encounters: figuring out how to beat the stupid hard swarm segments during the story and the AI being actually pretty good and actually learning from you and picking up your tricks and adapting to them or incorporating them into allies' movesets...

That's all stock, too, there's so many expansion mods out there that add like 5x more stuff to do and find.

That game's fucking NUTS and no one remembers it.

Beware ... it has a tendency to become a second (unpaid) job .... especially if you get to live in null-sec

@Parzi actually ... I played this one as well. But in all honesty, comparing it to EvE is like comparing javascript to java :-)
