It's 11 pm. I'm almost drunk and I have realized I have spent too much of my life learning. I have spent too much time working. I may only be 25 but I still am dedicating up to 100+ hours a week to my job and it needs to stop. It has only left me sad alone and drunk. I hope others on here try to have some social life because sitting here drunk and lonely sucks. Maybe I shouldn't be so picky. Who knows. Enjoy life when you can.

I spent all of highschool working on projects no social life. Now I can work 100+ hours a week. I don't even get to see my family much. I need a change.

@icycrash you most likely getting lets say 5 digit salary in dollars . Take a vacation or something. I dont advice you to stop working hard. Once you have enough money you can stop working for others. But you need to work harder for yourself. Like your own business or somehing in early 30s

@sandeepbalan it's a small 5 digit salary. I'm working on starting my own business, but getting the money together is hard.

@icycrash I would say you are on the right path. If this is what you want you dont have to worry about wasting your life . About to start your own company in 25. I cant see where the 'sad' part is. I am of your same age. Dont even own a house. Dad issues, most of the time stays inside after work. Never drunk, . If i am gonna start i got like millions of stuffs out there as reasons . Maybe the 'drinking' part is the saddest part in your story.

@sandeepbalan I think owning your own house is a little overrated unless you got a career you absolutely love. I don't own a house either. I use to live with my now ex now I stay some at my mom's. Sometimes at friends on long far off jobs.

@icycrash daam. Neither do i have a gf or mom owns a home. You got both. Seriously man where the hell is the 'sad' part. Dude happiness comes from inside yourself. Not from entities outside

@sandeepbalan The part that makes me sad is. I just haven't took any me time. My job has came before my relationships. That's why I'm single. It's less sad and more of pisses me off because it's my fault.
