@hatemyjob wouldn't you say that similar effects can be achieved in any linux distro(thus unix like) using something like conky?

@AleCx04 Ofcourse. Am sure the team in the picture is capable of doing that. Must have a Linux guy somewhere there.

What you don't see was the 57 hours it took them to get the drivers working with the screen hardware, the actual star of this picture.

I can't be the only one thinking that transparent displays are fucking useless (save for the "cool" factor) unless you have a clean light background without any distractions.

Z Nation is one of the best zombie apocalypse shows I've ever seen. Sad as it got canceled after 5 seasons.

@kamen Its not even cool, it looks plain ugly, no color variation, stuff is visible behind the screen and no real contrasting. Just plain terrible UI all across the board.

Not only that, but in sci-fi you see a lot of people working on big fancy screens which means you'll long term injure your arms (just like a hair dresser).
