will move to linux again, this time I hope will be the last. I'm motivated from a rant in which some guys discussed about proton having a lot of tittles supported in steam

got rise of nations from steam working in laptop with freshly installed linux mint 19.3 . (same game does not run in my win 10)

will use same distro in my gaming pc and hopefully will keep on linux for a while 🤞

    Usually everything works perfectly, or works quite nicely after a few tweaks. Sometimes, though, games are just incompatible and there's basically nothing you can do, but I've only run into a handful like this.

    Hope it works for you!
    I've tried a few times myself but since the games I Do want to play won't work properly / won't utilize my hardware fully I have to use Windows.

    @theKarlisK thx mate. I looked all my tittles into https://www.protondb.com/ and looks promising, just a couple got no-so-good qualification

    I only remember a few.

    Elite Dangerous
    Battlefield V (someone got it working; i wasn't albe to)
    Heat Signature (haven't tried lately)
    Just Cause 2 & 3 (haven't tried lately)

    @Root gotcha. I'll keep way from those.

    I'm worried about those few non-steam games I own. which seems to run with lutris.

    @JhonDoe Don't quote me on it, but I think I remember seeing something about getting those two working on linux. Might have even been on Lutris.

    Proton runs well but anti-cheats don't work.

    @theKarlisK Stupid EA. 🤦‍♀️ There's a reason I never buy anything from them.

    I managed to get both BF4 and BF5 for free. And honestly, after playing both of them for awhile, I don't think either are worth more than $10.
