Why seniors won't share the domain knowledge?? 😠

I have a huge ass domain I'm happy to share, got to offload all this knowledge to someone before I either get hit or jump on the bus.

I share so much my juniors get fed up hearing about it. You have shitty seniors.

I wish my juniors would ask, instead of developing without really understanding the context around the feature they're working on.

Are those juniors worth the effort required? will said junior stay around long enough?

If yes to both questions - seniors will share. yes to one, no to the other, depends on the Senior. If no to both... I don't know any senior who will waste time like that.

As a senior i find it hard to remember whats obvious and not. (If i'm able to explain something i tend to assume that everyone knows it and have to remind myself that i didn't know shit about it last week)
