I'd be takin that thing into Apple, and making a very loud scene until it was fixed, if it was a OS update that bricked it.
Also, check with your countries legal system as far as how warranty is handled, you might find that 12 months isn't a fixed legal line if you make enough noise.
Otherwise, that's fucked. -
Hold on hold on, there's a chip on your mother board that might have burned.
It just costs you like 10$, you might want to try that before anything else.
I just don't remember anything like what's the chip, where it is and such, I just know it causes the PC to not do anything at all (no more energy to basic components)

Thank you apple for making my macbook not boot anymore after catalina update. By not booting, I mean no fuckin nothing happens when you press the power button. It doesnt fuckin turn on anymore.
