STOP TURNING THE LIGHTS OFF WHEN YOU LEAVE THE OFFICE TOILET!!!!

For fuck's sake, do not turn the lights off if you're not sure if someone is in there or not. Don't be a moron.

    Why is this even possible

@electrineer are you criticizing me or them?

@NoMad I'm criticising the use of that kind of a light switch in that kind of a room

@NoMad you're suddenly in a position to answer how a blind person knows she's done wiping ;)

I used a restroom that had an f-ing timer on the light. Had to call someone to walk in to trigger the light so I could finish.

"Yeah, could come in the bathroom. The lights went off and I can't see anything."

    @Demolishun 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Had this problem also with automatic lights and me having a long ass dump.

People shouldn't turn them off, but I'm with @electrineer - that's a stupid system. Shouldn't be a normal switch, should just be a key switch or similar then they should stay on all day.

That or a PIR timer - but if so it needs to time out after like, half an hour, not 2 minutes.

We have single occupancy restrooms at work, so I really hope I know if someone is in there with me.

I guess you can never be too sure

You know, you could raise a stink (hehe) and mention that it is a safety issue. Anyone could come in on a person, turn off the lights, rape them or kill them or whatever, and leave. So from risk of falling and hurting oneself and another employee/outsider hurting someone it is a safety risk.

PIR timer switch in our work toilets, with a ridiculously short time span. This is why I always take my phone when I go for a dump. It's a handy emergency light.

I didn't know work toilets were such a common issue. What have I done? 😱

@NoMad You stirred the shit pot!

@Demolishun 🤣🤣🤣 I do that regularly as I review people's papers on deep learning 🤣

@Demolishun why do you need to switch off the lights for that to happen. The risk of falling and hurting is more real.

@electrineer Someone might be incentivized by anonymity. The victim might never know who did it.

use the light from the phone your'e ranting from. hope you are finished by time of my writing though...
