Thanks! Took a while to get /dev/sda mounted but once I figured that out, it was pretty easy

I use Fl.ux, so that is why the screen is red.

Arch is a fun journey, everyone should do it at least once 😊

You know, I'll have the terminal commands for installing Arch down pat by the end of the day 😎

@Bobj2008 I installed Arch and everything went perfectly the first time.

    Said no one ever!

I'm on install ~3? Once you get it right, it's rock solid, but expect a few wipe/reinstall!

I am using a virtual machine (specifically using VirtualBox) I will read the install guide slowly after I leave work.

Arch Linux was one of the best things that happened to me. I've tried so many distros in the last 2 years. But I'm always coming back to Arch.
Honestly the part with the most fun is the installation for me :D
I can do a installation in about 10 minutes completely out of the brain 😁
Sometimes I'm just sitting in front of my laptop thinking "Hm" flashing a drive, reboot the machine and start from scratch. Such a good feeling...

@toXel I've done it like two times and I am know the commands by heart :)

@Bobj2008 download, chroot, set defaults, profit. You could install Arch 10X during one W10 update

@stable-penguin This is so true! :D I should try it the next time Windows is doing a random update reboot to me...

Arch is my main distro and despite the difficulty install hype it has the easiest package manager. Ever felt mirrors were a pain in Debian? Not in Arch, install yaourt and life is easy. Alias' make the package manager even easier. I got: alias pacupg=sudo pacman -Syu, alias pacin=sudo pacman -S, amongst a few others.

Yeah, it really is quite an experience. I do recommend it!

@amokk This is just... Awesome! That's something I've planned to do for a long time :D
Of course the feeling of installing Arch would go away but... When it should happen fast then this is the perfect solution!

@amokk I will do it but, I want to install Arch in its bare bones

@Bobj2008 it sometimes takes way to long to do it from scratch, and time is money.
