There's also Razer's new Huntsman keyboard with Razer's new opto-mechanical switch. The sound is VERY satisfying, and also worth a look

My first Cherry MX switches were browns. I still love them, but I've since fallen hard for the Flaretech black switches on my Wooting 2.

    It's really personal.
To me browns feel like typing on gravel for exemple.
I would recommend box blacks (outemu are great, gateron are a bit more crunchy).
Buckling springs are too rare and too obnoxious.

I think, If you're a guy who pushes the keys all the way down (heavy typer), linear will be fine for you. You probably rely on feedback from bottoming out.

I prefer mx white tough, since browns bump is too subtle to me. Or blues.

Maybe buy that switch tester thingy.

I have always been a heavy typer, so the linear switches with medium to strong resistance feel great to me, as I really enjoy the feeling of that all-the-way-down impact.
